School of Fish by Fish Revolution partners with top chefs, seafood experts, fishermen and ocean farmers) to provide guests with interactive seafood experiences. School of Fish features workshops, classes, dinners, and field trips where guests learn how their seafood gets from the water to their table and feel empowered to purchase and cook more seafood at home while making purchasing decisions that support healthy oceans in stores and restaurants.
Proceeds benefit Fish Revolution, an independently funded non-profit organization that educates consumers on sustainable seafood and assists chefs, restaurants, and seafood industry members with implementing sustainable seafood business policy.

In our Fish Skills series participants will learn skills on varieties of topics from learning how to select high quality sustainable seafood, filleting fish, knife skills, cooking seafood at home, and more.

November 9, 2016: School of Fish: Fish Skills with Chef Timmy Malloy
Join the seafood honor roll at the launch of School of Fish, with our first class: Fish Skills with Chef Timmy Malloy (Private Chef, Formerly at Tavalota, Anchovies & Olives, Local’s Corner-SF). Chef Timmy will lead the interactive course, where you will learn techniques to properly select, fillet, and cure wild salmon at home to prepare beautiful gravlax like a pro.
By the end of the class, you will be prepared to go home and feed friends and families like a professional Chef. Fish Revolution Founder Crystal Sanders will discuss how participants can select seafood that is sustainable, supports healthy oceans and tastes delicious.
